Singer and guitarist Jake Bracey has been a longtime bar musician.

2019 brought the debut of Jake Bracey & The Mountain Laurels. A project featuring a rotating cast of friends and collaborators. Asleep on a Highway was a testament to the band’s signature sound; a boozy, folk-twinged brand for lovers of a sad song. The follow-up, due out in November, 2021 is called Grand Avenue Hymns.
